The Corps’ “Headwaters District,” wants to promote water safety and safe boating to the largest number of local citizens within the Pittsburgh District, during a time frame that aligns with National Safe Boating Week (May 22nd to the 28th) and National Water Safety Week, (June 18th to the 25th). The PNC Park is uniquely located in the Corps’ “Headwaters District,” at the junctions of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers.
