The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) intends to competitively procure services for the establishment and operation of the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) Nationwide Provider Network (NPN) to provide services to the Survivors of the 9/11 attacks in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Zadroga Act. A five-year Time & Material contract is anticipated.
The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to identify an experienced federal healthcare program provider to manage comprehensive Nationwide Provider Network (NPN) solutions for the World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program. Please see attachments for additional information, and instuctions for how to respond.Note that this is an RFI. It is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.
LHI manages the WTCHP Nationwide Provider Network, which is a nationwide network of health care providers to provide monitoring and treatment benefits and initial health evaluations as authorized under the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, Pub.L. 111-347.
This contract action was competitive with time & material and fixed-price line items. There are time & material line items due to the exact level of effort being unable to be determined with certainty due to the many variables of each individual moving part, that must always work together to fully support the need and activities of the members through the WTC Health Program.
The subsequent NPN contractor will continue all of the nationwide provider network services currently being provided to the WTC Health Program to continue support for healthcare of the responders who participated in the rescue, recovery, and cleanup in the aftermath of the attack on the World Trade Center (WTC) on September 11, 2001.
