Introduction City of Somerville, through its Procurement & Contracting Services (PCS) Department, is seeking to lease property for use as a police substation serving the neighborhood of East Somerville. II.
The neighborhood is a vibrant community, offering various public facilities grouped in the northeasterly portion that in- clude the City’s Utility Operations Center, the City Corporate Yard and the City Emergency Operations Center. Other public facilities within the neighborhood include a police station, the California Highway Patrol and Fire Training Academy.
