Responsibilities include: gathering data related to land use; providing technical assistance to the development review process; assisting in the implementation of community development programs and participatory budgeting initiatives; using GIS to develop and update City ordinances; working with neighborhood associations and other groups; and more!

Artists and teaching artists working in all disciplines, such as visual arts, performance, dance, and literary arts, are encouraged to apply. AIR duties include: Creating experiences, enabling collaboration, and building relationships through direct involvement with Yesler neighborhood residents.

Major construction will include working in close proximity to existing utilities, handling and disposing of contaminated materials, working around arterial streets and traffic control, construction of drilled shafts, construction of cast-in-place concrete structures, fabrication and placement of steel trusses and precast concrete deck panels, construction of geosynthetic retaining walls, fabrication and installation of an illumination system, and

with ethnic communities and historic neighborhoods, to provide planning, design and construction services.
