Application of asphaltic concrete to previously primed rock roads. 4. Fathering of the asphaltic concrete mat on private driveways to a point two (2) feet from the edge of the roadway. Resurfacing of the remainder of private driveways is expressly prohibited under this Contract, unless directed by the Engineer. 5. Adjustment of all storm water, water and sewer valves and manholes prior to resurfacing.

The 2024 road resurfacing program will include road resurfacing in all City wards and painting on East West Cycling corridor streets. The Contract will be split into two contracts (West and East Brampton). The program will include fifty-three (53) street locations and fourteen (14) provisional streets. The 2024 road resurfacing program will include work in all Wards, 1 through 10 (9, and 10 no resurfacing but painting).

Description: Reconstruction of Bailey Road and Hooper Road from SH 78 to Sachse Road. Reconstruct the existing two-lane asphalt road with a bar-ditch section to a new two-lane concrete street with a curb and gutter section. Underground drainage system to be included. Water and sewer utilities will be upgraded with this project. Proposed sidewalk and trail along both sides of the new roadway.
