To successfully complete this requirement, a vendor must:(1) Have the expertise to recommend modifications to the current operational NOAA-20 BCP-2000 spacecraft configuration that will address on-orbit anomalies, failures, or aging issues;(2) Have the ability to modify, validate and deliver SNPP and NOAA-20 BCP-2000 spacecraft flight software loads to address on-orbit anomalies, failures and aging;(3) Have SNPP/NOAA-20 BCP 2000 test beds and simulators
DOC.This facility is NOAA's primary command and data acquisition facility for its polar-orbiting operational environmental satellites while the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) in Suitland, Maryland, is the primary control and data processing center for NOAA spacecraft.
The BSEs combine environmental, orbital, and spacecraft subsystem models with non-linear simulations of the spacecraft dynamics; and they integrate them with hardware-based, functional facsimiles of the spacecraft electronics to produce high-fidelity spacecraft simulators.
The Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) is a 24-7 satellite tracking station operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in support of NOAA environmental monitoring spacecraft. As part of its safety, FCDAS utilizes a Fire Control System. These components provide communication between the Ft. Wainwright Fire Department and the FCDAS Fire control systems panels in several structures.

As part of its operations, FCDAS utilizes antenna systems capable of automatically tracking radio signals transmitted from these spacecraft. Radio/network-over-fiber cards are integral components of the antenna systems.
