Updated 10/29/2021 Currently out for Bid/Proposal/Quote Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 121FN007, issued September 24, 2021 is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Northwest Rail Line Peak Service Study. For this Contract, RTD has specified an DBE goal of twenty-two percent (22%) for the work to be performed.
The Village’s Metra Commuter Rail Station is in the northwest quadrant of 25th Avenue and the tracks. The CPKCS operates a critical intermodal yard approximately 1-mile to the West of the Village’s downtown. Phase I is expected to last 18 months. During or after completion of Phase 1, the Village reserves the right to negotiate and/or amend the contract for Phase 2 services, publicly advertise Phase 2 services or take no immediate action.

Heavy duty loading spur work includes, but is not limited to concrete turning pads, asphalt access road, heavy loading pads, side load aprons, rail, lighting, and lightning protection.
