Department of Revenue Post-Filing Notice Adopted and Filed Regulations Oil & Gas Production TaxOn November 9, 2021 the Department of Revenue, Tax Division adopted regulation changes to Title 15, Chapter 55 of the Alaska Administrative Code relating to the Oil and Gas Production Tax and Oil Surcharge, Alaska Statutes, Title 43, Chapter 55.
Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the State Board of Public Accountancy. On February 9, 2024, the State Board of Public Accountancy adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 4 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations dealing with updates to permit, examination, and license requirements, and dates for materials adopted by reference.
On April 12, 2024, the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development adopted regulations changes in Title 12, Chapter 52 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
On April 24, 2024, Department of Administration, Office of Procurement and Property Management adopted regulations in 2 AAC 12.400. The regulations concern raising the monetary threshold for reasonable and adequate, small procurements. The regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on April 24, 2024, and are effective on May 24, 2024.
Department of RevenuePost-Filing NoticeAdopted and Filed Regulations on Shellfish Common Property Assessment The Alaska Department of Revenue has adopted changes to regulations for administering the Shellfish Common Property Assessment enacted through the passage of Chapter 32 SLA 22 (HB 41, 2022) under 15 AAC 116, Common Property Fishery Assessment and Seafood Marketing Assessment. The proposed changes were publicly noticed in October 2023.
Department of RevenuePost-Filing NoticeAdopted and Filed Regulations Mining License Tax and Forest Products Business Loan Guarantee The Alaska Department of Revenue has adopted changes to regulations under 15 AAC 65, Mining License Tax and 15 AAC 145, Forest Products Business Loan Guarantee. The proposed changes were publicly noticed in September, 2020. The regulations were adopted by the Commissioner of Revenue on October 14, 2021.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on April 19, 2024, and are effective on May 19, 2024. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.The regulation changes will first appear in Register 250, July 2024 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
