The NWS will be installing a new Continental Electronics Corporation 300W Transmitter (Model WR300B) with a Collinear Omni Sinclair SC229‐L PIM Series antenna and will be broadcasting at 162.550 MHz. The NWS requires 1) services to conduct a frequency study for any possible interference to the NWR broadcast and 2) services and materials to install a new antenna on the HSEM tower.
Visualyse Professional software and its modules are used by the NWS to simulate complex radio spectrum interference scenarios to justify and defend U. S. Government’s usage of the electromagnetic spectrum, both domestically and to the world community at International Telecommunication Union (ITU) assemblies.
