The purpose of Occupational Skills Training is to assist an IVRS job candidate in developing specific work skills. Training must occur in partnership with a business or industry, or at the CRP providing the training, preferably at a site that is a competitive integrated community site by IVRS standards.
This program is expected to provide Occupational Skills Training to IVRS job candidates who are individuals with disabilities. The purpose of Occupational Skills Training is to assist an IVRS job candidate in developing specific work skills. The requirements in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision and management and any items necessary to perform the training. Instructors shall act in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards, 29 CFR Part 1910.
