This project consists of the mentioned improvements and estimated quantities throughout the City of Hays: Widening of the 13th Street corridor between Anthony Drive and Commerce Parkway. It will also consist of the construction of the right turn lanes in front of the high school, storm structure modifications, traffic signal modifications at 13th and Canterbury and restriping, and other related work.

There are offsite drainage improvements that will cross Fayetteville Street to the west of the project site and will include storm drainpipe installation within the right-of-way of Fayetteville Street and along Linwood Avenue. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on June 28, 2023, at 10:00 A. M., Eastern Time, at the Durham County Administration Building II, 201 East Main Street, Conference Room 466, Durham, North Carolina 27701.
