THE CHEROKEE MENTAL HEALTH INSTITUTE IS SEEKING BIDS FOR THE FOLLOWING: TWO (2) 48 BIN OPEN CONFIGURABLE DRAWERS FOR THEIR OMNICELL AUTOMATED PHARMACY DISPENSING SYSTEM. DRAWERS MUST WORK WITH THE PRESENT SYSTEM WHICH IS OMNICELL XT-ONE-CELL CABINET.
Pharmacy Cabinets
The Program Contract Activity Center in Independence, OH intends to make a sole source award to Omnicell Inc. The Department of Veterans Affairs Pacific Islands Health Care System is in need of Omnicell Inc Pharmacy Automated Distribution Systems to include XT SUP AUX 1 Cell Cabinets, XT SUP AUX 2 Cell Cabinet, XT SUP 1 Cell Cabinet, XT SUP 2-Cell Cabinet and Premium Windows Package.
An interface change is needed between the automated dispensing machine Omnicell and Net smart’s pharmacy software RxConnect. Rx Connect assigns all drugs a charge code based upon their package size. Omnicell currently uses this charge code to open the pockets. The new interface will communicate utilizing the Micromedex code called composite generic index (CGI) in addition to the charge code.

The contractor shall provide maintenance and support services for the Omnicell Automated Medication Systems used by Pharmacy Service. These systems are located at the Birmingham Clinic (Annex) and at the Huntsville Clinic. This system streamlines pharmacy workflows to help VA facilities achieve national patient safety goals related to medication management. Support services shall include bug fixes, phone support, and minor release upgrades.
