Portable Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) Reader System In Accordance With Attached Statement of WorkThe U.S.
Monitoring of areas occupied by non-radiation workers is performed by optically-stimulated luminescence (OSL) dosimetry. Optically-stimulated luminescence (OSL) dosimetry allows NIST to accurately measure lower levels of radiation ensuring that optimal controls are implemented.
Should a requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued.PROGRAM BACKGROUNDThis sources sought notice has been initiated in response to a requirement for preventative and on-call (remedial) maintenance for Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) InLight and RadWatch Dosimetry Readers and Annealers.REQUIRED CAPABILITIESThe Government requires that the services outlined in the attached PWS be provided. The intent
¿ It must have the ability to make optical stimulation for optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) measurements ¿ It must be capable of performing continuous wave optically stimulated luminescence (CW-OSL) measurements and linearly-modulated optically stimulated luminescence (LM-OSL) measurements ¿ It must be capable of heating a sample up to 500 °C with a variable heating rate ¿ It must have the ability for thermal stimulation or thermoluminescence
ITEM DESCRIPTION QUANTITY UOM UNIT PRICE EXTENDED AMOUNT 15 All or None Optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dosimeters, body. Capable of measuring beta, gamma, and x-ray radiation. Minimum detectable amount 1 mrem. Capable of measuring photon energies down to 5 keV. Exchange frequency quarterly.
Stimulated Luminescence) technology to determine measured ionizing radiation dose Must have the ability to discriminate static or dynamic exposures, angular exposures, partial shielding, and contaminations Must require only optically stimulated luminescence rather than thermoluminescence, so that it requires only light stimulation and not heat in order to stimulate the detector Must be capable of a lower limit of detection of 50 ÂμGy Must be compatible
Landauer will provide preventive and remedial (on-call), on-site maintenance services for Landauer-manufactured Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dosimetry readers and annealers for a base contract period of one year, plus two option years to be exercised based upon continuing bona fide need for services and availability of funding. The U.S. Army Dosimetry Center (USADC), a component of the U.S.
