It was concluded that the use of an outsourced forensic laboratory that offers in-house genome sequencing DNA testing and forensic genetic genealogy research would be necessary when attempting to test these old items of evidence. 1.1.2. The maximum liability for this procurement is estimated at $100,000.00. 1.2.
This testing is not currently offered in house by the DLM Microbiology Service due to the complexity of testing, thus these test requests are outsourced to a CLIA certified vendor.4.
