The USCG intends to issue an order for a quantity of Four (4) overhauls. Per FAR 52.217-6 Option for Increased Quantity, the USCG may increase the quantity by Four (4) overhauls, for a maximum quantity of Eight (8) at the same unit price as the original order, for up to three hundred and sixty-five (365) days after the initial award date.

It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded on a competitive basis for the overhaul of the Axial Compressor. Pricing shall be provided on Attachment 1 – Schedule – 70Z03822QJ0000163. All overhauls shall be performed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), General Electric Co. (Cage Code 99207) or an OEM approved overhaul facility.
