Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, IBCT Product Line has a requirement for the overhaul of Caterpillar marine diesel engines. These services are required onboard USCG Cutters based upon recommended original equipment manufacturer (OEM) periodicity.
20,000 hour overhaul of Caterpillar (CAT) D398 No. 3 and No. 4 engines in accordance with the Statement of Work for the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer
The remanufactured Caterpillar Models are D353, D379, D3304, D3306, D3406, D3412, D3508, and D3608. The remanufactured CAT Engines will include CAMPAR testing, engine timing synchronization, engine valve rotators, and vibration analysis.
