Project Description:VTA's Light Rail Maintenance is preparing to perform a mid-life overhaul on the fleet of 98 Kinkisharyo Light Rail Trains HVAC systems (the "Project"). This Project will ensure that the trains provide safe reliable service to our patrons and fulfill VTA's commitment to protecting the large investment made in these trains. The Project will replace worn parts and will meet the manufacturers recommended overhaul intervals.

Due to some major concerns and issues that were brought to FEMA's attention, we will be suspending the project indefinitely and will not be accepting any proposals at this time. It is FEMA's hope to have the requirements more clearly defined and revised for re-procurement.
