Parent Mentors offer parents in the Family Reunification program a mentor/role model to support and help them navigate the Juvenile Dependency Court system. Parent Mentors are invaluable because they bring a different perspective and, as a “reunified parent”, the Parent Mentor brings personal knowledge and experience and uses that to build bridges with parents, social workers and others involved in the parent’s case plan.
