The AMTP will recommend and prioritize short, medium, and long-term objectives to formalize and enhance the Town’s active transportation network and adhere to the principles, goals, objectives and policies of the Town’s Official Plan, Strategic Plan, Parks & Recreation Master Plan, and the Community Improvement Plan.

In summary, the Central Park Master Plan sets forth the goals and vision of the park that shall be implemented in the City’s FY 21-22 to FY 25-26 Capital Improvements Plan. The Central Park Master Plan best introduces respondents to the project location, history, and goals. The City has established a goal of $15M to be raised through fundraising and grants that would be used towards the programming aspects of the plan.

The purpose of this RFP is to seek a qualified multi-disciplinary proponent team, led by a Landscape Architect, or Landscape Architectural firm, to provide planning and design services and contract administration for the improvements to the Park. The proposed improvements are a result of the Council approved Belle Park Master Plan (BPMP). This RFP is specific to the implementation of the Phase 1 portion of works as outlined in the master plan.
