Suwannee County currently maintains 25 parks and facilities consisting of approximately 465 acres. Facilities maintained by the county include ballfields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, neighborhood parks, a community pool, a 14.5-mile-long greenway, two sports complexes, a 30-acre agricultural complex with a basketball gym, three natural springs, and five boat ramps.

This federally funded contract will perform drilling on the Glenn Highway between Airport Heights and the Parks Highway. Drilling work is in support of gathering geotechnical design data. Approximately 127 on-road test holes will be drilled to 10 feet in depth and 23 off-road test holes to 20 feet in depth are planned. Field work will be supervised by an Engineering Geologist.
