Added:Apr 02, 2018 1:32 pm Scope of Contract: to provide repair and preventive maintenance services to support the patient ceiling lifts in various areas at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System (VACIHCS) in Des Moines, Iowa.The Ceiling lifts are used by the nursing and clinical staff to move patients from one spot to another safely in support of the VA mission and facility objectives.
One: Annual Preventative Maintenance PM Services shall be in accordance with the Corrective and Preventive Maintenance Checklist for Ceiling Mounted Patient Lifts (Appendix B). 1.
Type of Contract Needed: Annual one-time Full Service/Preventive Maintenance(with option years). General Description of need: Annual one-time Full Service/Preventive Maintenance Contract for all Handicare Patient Ceiling Lifts including parts, on site labor, preventive maintenance, and visual inspections with load testing. Location: V.A.
Description of Work The contractor will provide all resources necessary to perform quarterly preventive inspections and annual preventive maintenance services on patient lift equipment located in the Martinsburg VAMC patient areas; the lift equipment includes 135 Mecare care lifts of varying models.
