The purpose of this contract is to provide the newly patient lift maintenance services to the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW within this solicitation is a non-negotiable document. Offers/quotes shall not include edits, revisions, additions, deletions, alterations, or track change comments to the SOW.

There are currently 420 lifts in service and two Sure Hand lifts that are located at the MVAHCS. These lifts will also need to be repaired as needed throughout the year. Contractor must be able to Service, inspect, load test and perform extensive repairs on MedCare and HandiCare Patient lifts and associated equipment. Contractor will need to be certified to perform maintenance on these lifts and conduct training to MVAHCS staff and technicians.

The purpose of this amendment is to clarify contradictory information in the Statement of Work at section B, paragraph 1, and Section C. Please review the attached amendment 002 for specific information.

Patient Lift Maintenance Services Veteran-Owned Small Business Pre-Solicitation

All required items stipulated in the SOW must be included as well: Offerors must provide resumes for technicians that will be servicing the patient lifts. These resumes must contain the following elements: Certificates of Completion for Handicare Patient Lift Training At least 5 years of experience servicing MedCare/Handicare patient lifts.
