NUMBER: PT3737 Nature of Work/Contract Title: Collision Reconstruction Training and Certification Description of Work: The contractor will conduct a pre-developed training course on pedestrian/bicycle related crash investigations for approximately 40 Minnesota State Patrol Troopers. The one week course will be presented June 20 – 24, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Venue for training will be determined by MSP.
The media buyer, working with the MSP and OOC, will place recruitment advertisements actively pursuing individuals interested in becoming Minnesota State Patrol Troopers who are: 1) currently licensed by the POST Board; 2) currently POST Board eligible; 3) POST Board eligible by May 19, 2023; 4) or meet reciprocity for POST Board eligibility via the military or license from another state.
The class will be attended by 30 Minnesota State Patrol Troopers and presented June 14-18, 2021, at Camp Ripley, Little Falls, Minnesota. The 64th Academy will commence February 14, 2022, and conclude May 20, 2022. The 65th Academy will commence July 18, 2022, and conclude October 21, 2022.
