The purpose of Phase One is to expand SPD’s secure parking area and to provide a new building for secure Property and Evidence (P&E) storage in a new pre-engineered metal building (PEMB). The short-term intent of the PEMB is to function as a secure, stand-alone P&E work space and storage location while the existing police station undergoes future building additions. Long-term, the PEMB will be used for miscellaneous police storage.
