The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Submittals from qualified artists or teams (Respondent) to provide permanent artworks for the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) Ticketing Hall Expansion Project.
An original freestanding artwork will be created in proximity to the Mountain View Street entrance. The artwork must be constructed of permanent, non-fugitive materials that will not tend to degrade or fade over the life of the artwork (25 years).
New projects reflect the same variety and include permanent artworks as well as process-based, temporary and social practice projects where a final product may not be emphasized.
