Description: The Joint Operations Center design project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport will modify the existing building (South Cargo 6 – Building 228) to provide for the permanent joint operations facility location. The facility will be multi-functional to accommodate Operations (AOC, AEOC, direct support spaces, and administrative offices) and potential support for CMPD, TSA, and K-9 teams.
The final deliverable for this RFP will include developing a framework for permanent program operations and permitting, a permit requirements handbook, an operator permit application, and a comprehensive summary report to present to the City Council in Spring 2023.
