The Library of Congress Preservation Divison requires contract support, using an IDIQ contract vehicle, for photochemical processing of black-and-white exposed motion picture film stock at a working motion picture film laboratory. Cold storage is critical for reducing therate at which acetate motion picture film deteriorates. Cold storage also significantly reduces the rate at which color film dyes fade.
