Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a project that involves the replacement of the central hydraulic system for the Main and Auxiliary Lock Chambers at Pike Island Locks and Dam, Ohio River, West Virginia. Louis District must conduct structural inspections of one (1) Service Bridge at Tygart Dam, one (1) Service Bridge and one (1) Weir Footbridge at Point Marion Lock & Dam, one (1) Service Bridge at Pike Island Lock & Dam, one (1) Service Bridge at New Cumberland Lock & Dam, and one (1) Service Bridge at Mahoning Dam. The steel service bridge at Tygart Dam is composed of 50 spans and a total structure length of 671 feet.
