Pine Lake State Park has a popular beach area that is connected to its parking lot via a trail and tunnel under a county highway. This concrete box culvert is in good condition and will remain in place. However, the retaining walls and stone archway on both sides of the tunnel are in poor condition.
Pine Lake State Park is located just North East of Eldora, Iowa. The park will receive a new host, full hook-up camp site, two (2) new shower buildings, a new pit latrine, a new slab on the Center Point shelter, and interior renovations in the four (4) cabins. As an alternate, a new Design Guide shelter and demo of the original shelter.

Iowa State Parks has redesigned their signage and will be installing new entry signs throughout the State in the summer of 2021. This project is for all A3 signs within the Parks system, there are six (6) of these signs at different locations. These locations shall all receive the A3 sign: Stone State Park, Mini-Wakan State Park, Dolliver Memorial State Park, Walnut Woods State Park, Pine Lake State Park, and Geode State Park.
