The PUC seeks to engage an independent testifying witness to inform in an ongoing proceeding before the PUC involving an investigation into the alleged violations regarding burial depth of gas pipeline
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, trenching and installation of approximately 3,171-LF of 8-inch gravity sewer pipeline and 330 LF of 3-inch pressure sewer pipeline at depths approximately 3 - 13 feet, sewer manholes, gravity and pressure sewer services, temporary traffic control, street reconstruction, stormwater improvements and general right-of-way restoration. The Engineer’s estimate is between $2,110,000 and $3,160,000.
The dredging shall be performed by an ocean certified hopper or ocean certified pipeline dredge. Dredging depths vary from 55 to 60 feet depending on the borrow area zone. The estimated quantity of material to be placed is approximately 1,050,000 cubic yards. Placement of dredged material shall be on the beach at Wrightsville Beach.
KNIGHT LIVESTOCK PIPELINE EXTENSION:The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) office in Miles City, Montana has a requirement to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct an extension to an existing livestock pipeline. The pipeline shall be ripped (pulled) to a minimum depth of 5 feet and all appurtenances shall be installed to 6-foot frost free depth. Specifications, maps, and drawings will be posted with the solicitation.
Type of Dredge: Deep/Draft Pipeline. This project scope is to deepen the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, Texas, Channel Improvement Project (CCSC, TX CIP) at the Inner Harbor from Chemical to Viola Turning Basins, near Avery Point, and at Upper Bay. The channel will be deepened to -54 feet Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) with an additional depth of 2 or 3 feet for advanced maintenance and 1or 2 feet of allowable over depth.
