The Work on Atlantic Street consists of abandoning in place the existing 6-inch ACP pipeline, fittings, valves and other appurtenances within the limits defined in the construction drawings and replacing it with approximately 1,600 LF of new 8-inch PVC or DIP pipe, fittings, valves and associated appurtenances needed to re-establish lateral connections to existing laterals.

Raw Water Pipeline Replacement Project Description :The project involves construction of approximately 830 meters of 700 mm water line using horizontal directional drilling and open cut methods. The work involves three tie-ins to existing steel and ductile iron pipe. The south tie-in involves construction of a temporary by-pass and paving of the tie-in area. Tree clearing and mulching will be required at selected areas for construction.
