The objective of this contract is to conduct thickness and tightness testing on the Chemical Transfer Facility (CTF) storage tanks and piping, conduct formal external inspections of the tanks, a formal visual inspection and hydrostatic testing of the piping system at the Munitions Assessment And Processing System (MAPS), and received the resulting reports.
Geiger Blvd, Spokane WA 99224, to provide services comprised of a comprehensive, visual and ultrasonic thickness inspection of Anhydrous Ammonia PSM Piping System, to include Valves via NDT Inspection, and provide report; all of which would need to be conducted within five-calendar days. Piping to include; service isolation valves at the air handlers, moisture indicators, and liquid line filters. All piping to be ACR copper thickness. 9) Pull a vacuum and charge the units with r-410a refrigerant. 10) Insulate the new refrigerant piping with 1⁄2” wall thickness Armaflex insulation. 11) Connect the new condensers to the existing electrical power wiring at their respective locations.
The project consists of the following scope items: • Replacing two 12-inch digester gas header piping segments and two condensate drain lines within a confined space (Gas Vault). • Purge, configure, operate and maintain bypass piping to allow piping demolition and replacement. • Prior to replacement of the digester gas piping, Contractor shall conduct an ultrasonic thickness test survey of the exposed digester gas piping from individual digesters
Due to heavy corrosion on piping in the vicinity of the hole, piping needs to be cut out and replaced. Hole in piping is located inboard side of NR1 MDE, approximately 1’ aft of frame 114, and approximately 1’ below the deck plate level.
