Chatham County will be the owner of the project and will be the primary contact point throughout the project. All correspondence, pay requests, and requests for information shall go first to the County's project manager. All direction to the Contractor will in turn be from the County's project manager or his designee.
SHIPPING: All deliveries shall be shipped F.O.B. point Destination-freight prepaid; the seller pays and bears all freight charges; collect shipments will not be accepted. It is agreed by the parties hereto that delivery by the contractor to the common carrier does not constitute delivery to the District. Any claim for loss or damage shall be between the contractor and the carrier. 21.
Bidders shall disclose the number of non-craft employees who will work on the project on a 1099 basis, and the bidders shall be awarded points based on their relative reliance on 1099 work arrangements with more points assigned to companies with fewer 1099 arrangements. Bidders will acknowledge that the City may ask them to produce payroll records at points during the project to verify compliance with this section. iii-3 D.
