The purpose of this acquisition is to move utility poles from one side of the road to another. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) – Soliciting from a Single Source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action.
This work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the construction of the underground electrical work required to remove the existing power poles on the site and maintain all the existing electrical feeds.
