District (District) is soliciting proposals from professional tank commercial dive firms with substantial experience in the cleaning and inspection of potable water storage facilities.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract for replacement of the existing steel 400,000-gallon potable water storage tank known as University Reservoir No. 4 (U4) which serves the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) campus and local Westside customers (Project). The Engineer's estimate anticipates that the total bid price will be $4.4M and the Contract Time for the completion of all the Work of the Project is 482 working days.

Upon treatment of raw water, potable water is stored in the existing tank before it’s pumped into the distribution system.
