On behalf of the Ground Vehicle Systems Center’s Materials Directorate – Additive Manufacturing Team (GVSC MD AM), ACC-DTA is conducting market research to understand capabilities related to the below requirement: Scope: This supplies Performance Work Statement (PWS) establishes the requirements for one Direct Metal Printing (DMP) Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) Equipment for the GVSC MD AM Team. 

This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of a turnkey powder-bed fusion metal 3D printing operation with the necessary support equipment such an operation entails, along with a minimum amount of post-processing equipment needed to bring printed parts to a finished state.

It has been determined that American Society for Testing and Materials is the sole provider of Comprehensive Survey of Commercially Available Powder Bed Fusion Metal Additive Manufacturing Systems NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Langley Research Center (LARC).
