The NYC Department of Correction (DOC) is seeking the services of a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the replacement of exisiting power feeders from Powerhouse to NIC Building. Replacement of all standby power feeders from paralleling switch gear to all existing substations on the facility. New feeders shall be rated at 15 KV. Drawings are available for D/B Firm to verify route, length, and capacity of the feeder, but it is the responsibility of the D/B Firm to validate the information on them. Work shall be performed without interrupting normal operations of the facility and stand by power capability.
