The Federal Correctional Institution, JESUP, GA. intends to issue solicitation 15B30721Q00000058 to remove and replace the powerhouse boiler located at FCI Jesup, GA. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price type contract from this solicitation. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards.
This project will replace an existing steam heating boiler at the LOCI Powerhouse, the new steam boiler will be tied into recently updated existing boilers to insure redundancy in the heating system. Additionally, main steam lines and water lines that connect the Powerhouse to the main facility via tunnel will be replaced along with any related components to the heating and domestic water systems.
