The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking a Service Provider to complete 36.5 acres of prescribed fire on the Rasmussen Trust site enrolled in the Iowa Habitat Access Program for the purpose of native grass maintenance.
Description: The Suwannee River Water Management District is requesting Proposals for Prescribed Fire Management Services on various sites throughout the District. Prescribed burning will be done to facilitate natural community restoration and maintenance and to reduce the threat and severity of wildfires. To meet prescribed burning acreage goals, the District plans to burn an average of 8,000 – 14,000 acres per year.
