Use of CSMD information can improve patient care and safety by preventing the misuse, abuse, and diversion of prescription-controlled substance drugs while ensuring patients receive the medical care they need. Some of the requirements of the solutions and the Contractor are highlighted below. Please note these requirements are intended to illustrate the State’s current expectations for these solutions.
