HOUSTON - Primary Care Clinic Renovation RFP Project Description :The Houston diagnostic and treatment (HDT) offers episodic and longitudinal primary and community care, short-term urgent and emergency care, and limited specialized services, including community paramedic services, while also supporting clinical pathways and linkages to higher levels of care.
Wayne VAMC is seeking a general contractor to build a 27,000 square foot addition on the West side of Building 1 and complete 2,500 square feet of remodeling at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care Campus with a period of performance of 700 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. This project will add space for both Primary Care and the Emergency Department, install upgrades and correct deficiencies.
Integrated mental health services, pain management and opioid safety will be services provided to veterans at this Primary Care facility. Safety and Security needs will also be improved as physical security measures will be address with the new construction as well as emergency preparedness, and compliance to building standards and codes.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project shall build a 8,600 BGSF to building 55 for Women's health and Primary Care clinics and renovate 13,500 BGSF of adjoining space that is designated as Primary Care, Mental Health, and Radiology space. This will create PACT compliant space in the new addition as well as provide Primary Care - Mental Health integration.
