The Port of Seattle and King County Solid Waste Division have partnered to evaluate the feasibility of directing some or all of the municipal solid waste (MSW) and other material received at King County (KC) and other regional (western WA and OR) solid waste facilities to a potential future sustainable liquid fuel production facility, with an emphasis on sustainable aviation fuel.
Project Description: Milwaukee County (“County”) invites responses to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) from qualified, experienced firms to provide general sustainability consulting services for Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE). Milwaukee County intends to award a one-year contract with up to two (2) optional one-year renewals to the winning Respondent under this solicitation.
It will examine opportunities for growth in sustainable aviation fuel production and delivery, hydrogen-powered aviation, electric propulsion, and hybrid-electric aviation. The Flight Plan will provide strategic insight into the opportunities and challenges of expanding the SATE industry in the region.
