Brake System The vehicle shall be equipped with air-operated brakes and an anti-lock braking system (ABS). The brake system shall meet or exceed the design and performance requirements of the current Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS)-121, and the test requirements of the current NFPA 1901 Standard. A dual-treadle brake valve shall correctly proportion the braking power between the front and rear systems.
