This is a unique opportunity for contractors to experience and prepare for future project opportunities with model-based platforms and to provide input on improving the transition to this delivery method. Following the project design phase, the project will be advertised, bid, and constructed as a traditional design-bid-build project.

The 3.5 mile project will be the central extension of the Big Walnut Trail, from Nafzger Park on Refugee Road, to the north end of Big Walnut Park at East Main Street. Responding consultant teams shall be capable of demonstrating excellence in public engagement, NEPA-level environmental assessments, civil engineering, and sustainable, cost-effective design and project delivery.
