Public Safety DispatcherVillage of Pleasant Prairie, WIApplications are still being accepted for this 3rd shift full-time position. The primary responsibility for Dispatcher is to provide prompt and accurate transmissions to Village Departments such as Police, Fire, EMS, and Public Works. If selected to move forward, the process consists of a written test, interview, background check and psychological evaluation.

Consultant duties may include, but are not limited: Conducting pre-employment psychological screenings on Police Recruit, Police Reserve, Community Service Officer, Police Data Specialist and Public Safety Dispatcher applicants. Screenings will include comprehensive psychological testing, individual personal interviews and examination and evaluation of background data.

SJFD processes a combined total of approximately 65 Fire Fighter, Arson Investigator, and Public Safety Radio Dispatcher psychological evaluations each year and requires the services of an established psychological evaluation firm/individual(s) with a desired expertise in law enforcement who will: 1) provide expertise in assisting the SJFD in determining and selecting the appropriate assessments required to evaluate each applicant; 2) provide access
