The DRC shall serve adult participants that are the County’s responsibility as a result of the Public Safety Realignment Act, as well as adult probationers who are identified and referred by Probation and the Sheriff’s Office respectively, as being appropriate for this program.

The population the County expects to serve consists of offenders that are high and moderate risk-to-reoffend designated to be the County’s responsibility as a result of the passage of the Public Safety Realignment Act, as well as all other eligible in-custody adults. The programs for incarcerated adults are funded by the Inmate Welfare Trust Fund and Assembly Bill 109.
