  Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Mission and Installation Contracting Command- Fort Benning, Georgia intends to award a sole source contract with the incumbent, Ice Resources, Inc. using the procedures in the simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to effect a contract that can provide Ice daily to MCOE-Fort Benning for  training events on ranges, motor-pools during spring and summer heat surges .

The awarded contractor agrees to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) the use of the Contractor's outdoor firing range facility for the term of this Agreement. The anticipated term for this contract is March 1, 2023, through February 28, 2026. Questions are due 1/11/2023 at 5:00 p.m. Answers will be posted 1/13/2023 by 5:00 p.m. Bids are due 1/20/2023 at 2:30 p.m. and must be mailed.

The 81st Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source purchase order to Action Target for the replacement of an Action Target Ventilator Motor located at the CATM Firing Range at Keesler AFB, MS.  This has been determined to be a sole source due to the terms of the existing maintenance contract, equipment warranties, and Action Target having no other authorized distributors or vendors.
