Production:  Product Manager Soldier Maneuver Sensor (PdM SMS) will conduct FWS-I Full Rate Production Industry Day Conference on 14-15 April 2020.  

DRAGON is currently executing the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) portion of the program where 5 of the 31 aircraft fleet are being modified with DRAGON.  The remainder of the DRAGON modifications will be completed under Full Rate Production, which is currently scheduled for a late FY20 contract award.   

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole source contract to Orbital Sciences Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, Inc., for the Full Rate Production (FRP) Lot 14, with Option years for Lots 15, 16, & 17, of the GQM-163A surface launched aerial target system that emulates the anti-ship cruise missile in support of weapon system test and evaluation.

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Procurement Division, Lakehurst New Jersey has a requirement for two (2) Lots of Full Rate Production of the Precision Laser Guidance Set (PLGS) (DSU-38A/B, DSU-40A/B, and DSU-42/B) for a combined 12,000 units per delivery order for five years.  This requirement is in support of PMA 201 for USN, USAF, and FMS customer.  

The purpose of the Javelin Full Rate Production requirement is to maintain a specified state of operational readiness of the Javelin Weapon System for the Department of Defense users and foreign military sales customers.
