A new steel beam frame will be installed to support Hatch and the Roof opening. The roof replacement consists of a wood trusses. Once the roof structure is complete, the re-roofing of the whole roof will take place. This is a shingle roof and the ceiling will need to be replaced as well

It is unknown if it is the original roofing or if it has been re-roofed. Any future re-roofing should include stripping the roof to the Tectum deck, adding Tapered board foam insulation to improve the drainage, and replacing the metal edge/ fascia before re-roofing with a single ply membrane. • There are no roof drains or gutter and downspouts, so the water just runs over the edge.
criteria outlined in Step 1 of Section L include the following:• A current and valid California Contractor's License• A local office in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA for a minimum of three years• Experience working at Department of Energy (DOE) and/or Department of Defence (DOD) Facilities• Documented experience managing Construction projects of a comparable size• Previous experience executing projects in the field of demolition, commercialroofing/re-roofing
Additionally, there are various architectural renovations to the kitchen, living room, restrooms, offices, and dorms including, but not limited to removal and replacement of flooring, ceiling tiles, lighting, furniture, appliances, and cabinetry; removing of office partitions; applying new paint; replacement of fire detection devises; re-roofing; providing new HVAC equipment; and minor electrical improvements.
