As part of the District’s real estate utilization strategy, the Board of Education is interested in jointly developing the Central Elementary School site using the following guiding principles, identified in 2014 at a special board workshop on real estate: • Maintain ownership of district property where appropriate • Generate on-going revenue • Develop properties as neighborhood centers providing neighborhood services • Provide for community engagement

The mentor and mentee meet one-on-one weekly to discuss the curriculum and work together to develop lessons for diverse venues such as senior, youth, or art centers, which they teach after the conclusion of the workshops. The mentee instructs real students under the supervision of the mentor, and the pair continue to meet during the length of the class to provide feedback and troubleshoot any problems that arise.

Washington River Protection Solutions, LLC (WRPS) requests proposals for FAR Workshop Training. The requested work is in support of WRPS’s Prime Contract DE-AC27-08RV14800 with the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of River Protection.
